“If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”
We should never have to defend our freedoms and rights that have been promised to Americans by our Founding Fathers, yet we find ourselves constantly at war with those who try to take these rights away.
Freedom of Speech is now being censored everywhere we turn, whether it be about medical issues, thought and ideas, or just words that someone might perceive as hate speech. In America, we shouldn’t have to think to be careful about what we say because of the repercussions. We also have the right to speak our own minds and have our own opinions without being blacklisted by society.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”
Our second amendment rights are also in danger as to those who are in power see to take our right to bear arms.
Gun control laws will not prevent criminals from obtaining weapons and using them against the defenseless.
